Santaland Diary 2015

Started my part time gig last evening taking photos with Santa
at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
One of the first through was a Marine in full dress. I took great pride in shaking his hand after taking photos of he and his family!
This position shows you the very best society can offer, and unfortunately the opposite end of the spectrum as well.
Oh the stories......................................................

A woman and three rambunctious kids stopped in for photos today. She tried to get Santa to tell her kids to do their homework and help around the house among a host of other tasks. I did not hear directly how he responded to the children.
After they left, there was a bit of a lull we generally chat about all kinds of things. This time, Santa mentioned that it is not his job to be the parent, but to provide hope and a little mystery to a child's life. The parents job is already taken!

As of 12 8 2015 Santaland update:
